Who we are

Since 2011, we are a civil society organization committed to peace building and the comprehensive defense of human rights in Afro-descendant territories. We work for social, climate, racial, gender and reproductive justice, promoting processes that dignify the people.

Our values

We are sustained by principles born of territory, memory and collective knowledge. We believe in community commitment as a vital force to transform realities, in equity as a path to guarantee freedoms and dignity, and in otherness as a political and loving act of recognizing ourselves in the face of the other.

We work for the common good from the root, recognizing that human dignity flourishes in mutual care, solidarity among peoples and the defense of life in all its forms. Our commitment is to walk with communities, weaving just, loving and sustainable relationships between cultures, territories and memories.

Our action stems from the conviction that there is no freedom without justice. We are committed to transforming social covenants to make them more just, inclusive and restorative, promoting that each person, especially those who have been historically excluded, can fully deploy their capabilities and dreams, in an environment of shared dignity.

We believe in otherness as an act of healing, malungaje and encounter. We enunciate ourselves from active listening, recognizing the faces, voices and ways of seeing the world of the other, the other and les otres. Alternating our own perspectives with those of others is part of an ethic of care, intercultural dialogue and respect for the cosmovisions that sustain the territories.

We recognize human diversity-ethnic, cultural, spiritual, gender and thought-as a richness that nourishes collective life. To defend this diversity is to build peace, cultivate social cohesion and sow sustainability in the paths of dignity.
