Biodiversity Circuit: an artistic, cultural and ecological action in Cali during COP16
Within the framework of our strategic line Territorial peace and environmentThe Friends of UNESCO Corporation joined forces with the Secretary of Culture of Santiago de Cali to bring to life the Biodiversity Circuitan artistic, cultural and pedagogical experience in harmony with nature.
During the 16th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 16), held in Cali in 2024, we installed artistic circulation stages in green areas and spaces of the biodiversity circuit. This action not only promoted cultural diversity, but also strengthened the dialogue for environmental peace and ecological justice.
With art, music, dance and ancestral knowledge, we contribute to make visible the territorial commitment with the care of the planet and the defense of the rights of nature, in harmony with the objectives of sustainable development.
