The School of Values for Sustainable Developmentdeveloped in the northern part of the Cauca, is an initiative that articulates ancestral knowledge with the global objectives of the Agenda 2030. Framed in our strategic line Territorial peace and environmentThis experience strengthened the social fabric and the connection with the environment through traditional practices such as the barterthe mingathe community gardens and the food safety.
From a territorial and integral approach, training processes were promoted with an impact on various sectors:
Training for teachers as sustainability promoters.
Environmental education for children in school environments.
Capacity building for fathers, mothers and caregivers.
Coordination with local social organizations committed to the defense of the environment.
This school was a space for learning, action and hope, in which the communities reaffirmed their role as guardians of the territory and key actors in the construction of a sustainable future.
